HE the Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari headed the delegation of the State of Qatar in the work of the 114th meeting of the Financial and Economic Co-operation Committee of the Gulf Co-operation Council, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Finance, Economy and Planning in the GCC countries. The Qatari delegation included chairman of General Authority of Customs, Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Jamal.
On this occasion, HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Qassim al-Abdullah al-Thani participated in the joint meeting of the Financial and Economic Co-operation Committee and the Commercial Co-operation Committee, through video conference.
In a statement, the Ministry of Finance said, "The committee discussed the importance of the GCC states’ continuity of endeavours to keep pace with the current financial and economic developments and challenges at the regional and international levels, while translating these efforts and achievements in a way that contributes directly to supporting and strengthening the joint Gulf economic process."
