His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met Monday at the Amiri Diwan office with the visiting Member of the US House of Representatives representing Washington State Rick Larsen, and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed the strategic relations of friendship and co-operation between Qatar and the US and aspects of their development in various fields. Larsen expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Amir for Qatar's efforts in supporting peace in Afghanistan and facilitating civilian evacuations.
