The winter sale of local vegetables is set to begin as the Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Agricultural Affairs Department, has announced that four yards - Al Wakra, Al Khor & Al Thakhira, Al Shamal and Al Sheehaniya - to sell such products will open Thursday.
The ministry said the four markets will work thrice a week, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 7am until 3 pm.
As for the Al Mazrouah yard, the ministry said that it will be opened on November 18 at its new location, the Umm Salal Central Market.
