Msheireb Properties is celebrating the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 with a series of cultural and sports activations that will appeal to all ages.Until December 18, Barahat Msheireb at Msheireb Downtown Doha will be the hub of family-oriented activities. “Msheireb Downtown Doha is the place for football enthusiasts and families to spend a joyful time and cheer for their teams, while exchanging the diverse aspects of their rich cultural heritage,” Msheireb Properties’ public relations and communications director Maryam al-Jassem said in a statement.The Barahat is now decorated with a green pitch and football signs, while the games will be projected live on the M7 facade in addition to football-related content that display Qatari heroes and their achievements. The activities at the Barahat Msheireb include a Chill Out Area with bean bags and picnic tables, Instagrammable installations, Speed radar, in addition to several sports games such as Foot Bowling, Skeeball, Fooseball table, Footpool, Mini football pitch for kids under eight, and PlayStation FIFA Game Stations, among others. Besides, the visitors can take memorable photos at the photobooths to showcase their support to their team during the games in their traditional clothes. A special workshop “Design your own football” will allow the audience to unleash their creativity to design a football. The session is free and open to all ages.A series of entertainment shows will delight the audience every day as they enjoy a magical cultural experience. The stage area will host two daily musical and element parades, while the background music will add excitement to the shows and competitions.In addition to the fun and sports activities, visitors can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options from dedicated booths. The activations will take place every day from 4pm to 10pm on weekdays and from 4pm to 11pm on weekends.
