Lulu Hypermarket Qatar, the leading retailer of the region, has opened its 16th store in the country Wednesday as part of an aggressive expansion drive. The new store on Salwa Road at Al Aziziya Wednesday, boasts a state-of-the-art retail space of 100,000sft, spread over two levels. The new branch was inaugurated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali bin Abdul Aziz al-Ahmad al-Thani in the presence of guests including Sheikh Hassan bin Khaled al-Thani, Sheikh Mohamed bin Ahmed M A al-Thani, Jaber Ahmed K H al-Sulaiti, Mohamed Taleb al-Khauri, Abdulla Abdul Razak, Doha Bank Group CEO Dr R Seetharaman, Doha Bank's chief wholesale banking officer Ala Azmi Abumughli, and Commercial Bank's senior relationship manager (corporate) Prashant Jalan.LuLu Group's chairman and managing director Padma Shri Dr Yusfali M A. executive director Ashraf Ali M A, LuLu Group International director Dr Mohamed Althaf and other senior executives of Lulu Group were also present.The new outlet, also LuLu Group's 220th, will serve the residents of Al Aziziya and its surrounding areas with easy access and ample
parking in the basement and backside of the building. The new store features a shopping environment highlighting modern aesthetics and will facilitate access to all essentials for a household, at highly modest prices. With the launch of new branch, LuLu has renewed its commitment to their large multi-ethnic clientele with congenial shopping experience.
