*Amir holds talks with President Duda
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Amir welcomed the Polish president and the accompanying delegation, wishing him a pleasant stay, and the relations of the two countries further development and growth in various fields.
For his part, the President of Poland expressed his thanks to His Highness the Amir for the warm reception and hospitality, stressing his keenness to develop and strengthen Qatari-Polish relations, looking forward that his visit would contribute to achieving the two friendly people's aspirations in flourishing co-operation and friendship between the two countries.
During the session, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them, especially in the fields of economy, energy, culture and sports, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
A number of Their Excellencies the Ministers attended the session.
On the Polish side, members of the official delegation accompanying the president attended the session.
The president of Poland was accorded an official reception upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Polish President and the delegation accompanying him at the Amiri Diwan.
A number of Their Excellencies Ministers attended the banquet.

Later addressing the Qatari-Polish Business Council, Duda called on Qatari businessmen to invest in his country and learn more about Poland investment climate.
The Qatari-Polish Business Council was formed in 2020 to promote relations between both parties.
The roundtable was attended by HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Qassim al-Abdullah al-Thani, Second Vice-Chairman of Qatar Chamber Rahsid bin Hamad al-Athaba, HE Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive and Chairman of Qatar Tourism Akbar al-Baker, HE Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (IPA Qatar) CEO Sheikh Ali bin Alwaleed al-Thani and a number of Qatar Chamber board members and businessmen from both countries.
