UAE leaders congratulate Qatar on National Day

The Burj Khalifa lit up to congratulate Qatar on its National Day.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has sent a message of congratulations to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Qatar National Day.Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, dispatched similar messages to HH the Amir.“Congratulations to the government and people of Qatar on their National Day. We pray to Allah Almighty to bless them with security, stability and prosperity. We are united by being brothers and relatives….. by the aspirations of our peoples for a better future and by the Gulf Cooperation Council," Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said in a tweet.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said in a tweet: “Congratulations to our brothers and sisters in Qatar on the country’s 50th National Day. We wish Qatar and its people continued prosperity and success under the leadership of Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani."

 

UAE also announced that it will celebrate Qatar National Day on December 18.
