The French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin visited Saturday morning the National Museum of Qatar, on the sidelines of his visit to Qatar, QNA reported.
During his tour, he was briefed on the museum's most important objects and listened to an explanation of its treasures.
He also toured its various galleries, which included the start of the geological development in the Qatar Peninsula, its natural environments, the ecological and rock carvings on archaeological sites, the life of the people of Qatar on land and on the coasts, and a digital exhibition.
He was also briefed on the collections related to pearls and jewellery design, as well as the galleries of the modern Qatari history since the discovery of oil and gas.
