Rajagiri Public School (RPS) celebrated Qatar National Day with an array of activities. A special assembly was conducted with 'National Identity' as its central theme reflecting the country’s rich tradition and heritage. Students displayed the ethnic and traditional aspects of Qatar’s culture.
The highlight was a cultural extravaganza featuring Arabic song, sword dance, Tribute to FIFA, a ramp walk and a video that presented developments Qatar has achieved in the field of education, culture and economy over the years.
The chief guest, Mahmoud Alakhras, spoke on the occasion and appreciated the students for putting up a spectacular show.
The programme concluded with a message by the school principal.
On the occasion, RPS also unfurled a 20x4m Qatar National Flag with students' palm print imprinted. The entire school premises was beautifully decorated in maroon and white colours, balloons and national flags.
