The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) on Tuesday announced full temporary closure on Grand Hamad Street starting from Friday December 31 for three months. During the period, Al Fanar Junction will be closed completely and Abdullah Bin Jassem Street will be fully closed.
Commuters using Al Cornice Road can use the alternative roads such as A Ring Road Street, Jasim Bin Mohammed Street and Ali Bin Abdullah Street and avoid using inner Roads to reach their destination.
The closure is to enable the works for Central Doha & Corniche Beautification Project with the coordination of the Traffic Department.
