Spanish adventurer sets off on foot for Doha

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Spain Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Hamar met with Spanish adventurer Santiago Sanchez who is planning to travel to Doha on foot from Madrid to attend Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
HE the Ambassador wished Sanchez luck in his journey.





Sanchez is expected to take 11 months to complete the 6,800 km journey on foot to reach Doha. During his stopovers in the countries he will pass through, he will plant trees to create awareness on the importance of preserving the environment and the need to move more towards a green economy.
