The Training Center for Candidates of Qatar Armed Forces celebrated the graduation of the founding course for candidates of the 21st batch, under the patronage of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, and in the presence of HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad al-Nabit.
The ceremony was also attended by HE Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training Major General Hamad bin Abdullah al-Fetais al-Marri, HE Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration and Logistics Affairs Major General (Air) Abdul Rahman bin Nasr al-Nasr, and a number of senior officers of the Armed Forces. The course included members of the armed forces units and security authorities in the country, in addition to candidates from brotherly and friendly countries, and the training curriculum included theoretical and practical tracks to enhance the candidates' skills and capabilities.
On this occasion, the Commander of the Training Center Colonel Ali Awad Namlan, explained that the course granted the foundational training to the candidates, who during the period of their training received exercises in physical fitness, all kinds of military infantry, dismantling and installing light weapons, military security, shooting, and first aid, as well as awareness lectures, adding that the courses also included Arabic language course for candidates of Rwanda and Somalia, and an English language course for candidates of civil studies. At the end of the ceremony, HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces honoured the distinguished students, and memorial photos were taken with the graduates.
