Students representing Qatar have won the first 2021 Future Science Challenge competition for distinguished students at the level of the Gulf Co-operation Council countries.
Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys won the first place for the Best Presenter Award in the virtual contest held at Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Giftedness and Innovation in the UAE from September 26 to November 25, 2021.
Students Abdullah Abdulrahim al-Janahi and Hamad Abdulaziz al-Hurr from Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys won the Best Presenter Award after demonstrating outstanding presentation and communication skills in the competition.
On this occasion, a shield of appreciation was awarded to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the two winning students received the shield for best presenter. Students who participated in the competition received medals and certificates, while their supervisers received certificates of appreciation for their outstanding efforts and support for students throughout the competition.
This achievement aims to promote creativity and innovation among students to develop a wide range of skills, and to unlock their creative and competitive potentials at the global level.
