* Families and kids can visit Children's Library as normal from Saturday, with in-library ticketing system in place to control capacity

Qatar National Library (QNL) has announced that the public can visit the library without an appointment from today.
"We’re pleased to announce that, starting from Saturday, January 29 , we welcome everyone to visit the library without an appointment," QNL said in a tweet.
Also, starting from today, QNL welcomes families and children to visit the Children's Library as normal, according to information available on the library's website.
"However, for our visitors' safety, an in-library ticketing system will be used in the Children's Library to control capacity on a first-come, first-served basis. The free tickets will be issued every hour until the closing time (6.30pm). When the Children's Library reaches full capacity, visitors will be asked to wait outside the Children’s Library," the website states.
"Our Online Resources (eBooks, articles, eMagazines, eNewspapers, etc), Qatar Digital Library and Digital Repository always remain accessible 24/7 wherever you are," it adds.
All books due on or after December 25, 2021, are automatically renewed until February 28, 2022. Users can still return the books manually in the bins installed at QNL’s main entrance, or at the drive-through station by the road outside the library, anytime without the need for an appointment.
A recent Cabinet decision permitted the entry of all individuals into museums and public libraries, whether they have completed the Covid-19 vaccination or not, including children. This came as part of the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in the country from today.
