Weather inshore until 6pm on Tuesday will be misty to foggy at places at first, becomes relatively cold with scattered clouds and blowing dust at places by afternoon, the department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of poor horizontal visibility at places at first, strong wind at places by afternoon.
Offshore will be scattered clouds to partly cloudy at places at times and chance of scattered rain at north, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea by afternoon.
Wind inshore will be southeasterly to southwesterly 03 to 12 knot becomes northwesterly 12 to 22 knot gusting to 27 knot at places by afternoon.
Offshore, it will be southeasterly to southwesterly 03 to 13 knot, becomes northwesterly 10 to 20 knot gusting to 26 knot by afternoon.
Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometres or less at places at times.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, rises to 2 to 4/5 feet by afternoon. Offshore it will be 1 to 3 feet, rises to 3 to 6/8 feet by afternoon.
