Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, one of the centers operating under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, graduated the 2021 batch, who included 37 students.Executive Director of Al Shafallah Center Laalee Mohammed Abu Alfin said that the graduation of the 2021 batch is a new accomplishment added to the Center's achievements, praising the determination shown by the graduates and their keenness to defy all difficulties and crises, and their determination to be the pride of their parents, teachers and the country.She noted that success would not have been achieved without the priority that Qatar gives to people with disabilities and the great support it provides to them.Over the years, the Center has played a pioneering role in providing specialized services for people with intellectual disabilities and autism, and sought to provide specialized educational, rehabilitative, therapeutic and psychological services, comparable to and competing with the services provided in the leading international centers in this field, she added.Al Shafallah Center provides exemplary services for people with intellectual disabilities and autism under the age of 21 in the field of education and rehabilitation, as well as community awareness of their issues and rights in order for them to lead a more independent life and their integration into society.
