Indian expatriate forum Andhra Kala Vedika hosted Qatar National Sport Day celebrations on February 8 at Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) premises. Captain Mohan Atla, defence attaché from the embassy of India and co-ordinating officer of the Indian Sports Centre (ISC) joined the celebrations. Traditional games were among the highlights.
ISC president Dr Mohan Thomas, ICC president P N Baburajan, general secretary Krishna Kumar, advisory council chairman K S Prasad, Indian Community Benevolent Forum vice president Vinod Nair, community leaders including Mahesh Gowda, Deepak Shetty, and Ln Mustafa were present.
