Customs thwarts bid to smuggle out foreign currency

Hamad International Airport customs, in cooperation with the Airport Security wing of the Ministry of Interior, has seized a large amount of money in foreign currencies from a departing passenger.The passenger had not disclosed the money and could not produce any evidence that the money belonged to him.
