The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) announced Monday the launching of the updated long-term strategic plan 2030 in its two (second and third) phases.
The corporation said that the launch of the long-term strategy (2014 - 2030) in its two (second and third) phases, which took place during a meeting of its leaders, through which its vision were updated to achieve regional and international leadership in its mission to provide high-quality sustainable electricity and water in the State of Qatar.
Kahramaa's long-term strategy (2014 - 2030) has set a roadmap for sustainable growth to achieve its vision, taking into consideration customers' convenience and the satisfaction of the whole Qatari society as the cornerstones of its strategy.
The updated strategy of Kahramaa (phase 2 - 3) represents a blueprint based on scientific foundations and evaluation studies, aiming to maintain the corporation's regional excellence in the fields of comprehensive planning for water networks and electricity grid implementing the work in the best possible way, in order to provide the community with high-level services and facilities.
The meeting discussed a detailed presentation of the corporate planning cycle for 2022. It also touched on the mechanisms of analysis and strategic planning, including the corporations' organizational structure, audit procedures, and performance monitoring to ensure the achievement of Kahramaa's development goals and provide the best services according to the highest quality and reliability standards locally and internationally.
It is worth noting that Kahramaa has started following this strategy since 2014. It was launched to start moving towards the comprehensive strategic transformation of the corporation, which is based on results managed by precisely defined performance indicators. This puts the corporation in the perfect position to be an essential and effective partner in the comprehensive development process.
Since the launch of the strategy, all departments in Kahramaa have worked to achieve the goals, reflecting the basic values adopted by the corporation, such as service quality, job performance, levels of accuracy and efficiency, innovation, and technical creativity.
