No PCR test required for fully vaccinated passengers travelling to Pakistan

National Command and Operations Centre Pakistan recently tweeted that requirement of negative PCR report for passengers travelling to Pakistan has been abolished for fully vaccinated passengers.
 
From Thursday, fully vaccinated people travelling to Pakistan are no longer required to produce a negative RT-PCR test report.This has been announced by the National Command and Operations Centre, Government of Pakistan."With effect from 24 Feb, the requirement of a negative PCR report for passengers travelling to Pakistan has been abolished for fully vaccinated travellers," the NCOC tweeted Wednesday.However, non-vaccinated individuals over 12 years of age will require a pre-boarding negative PCR report, with the test done within 72 hours prior to the flight, the NCOC said in a notification.The notification states that full vaccination is mandatory for all Pakistan-bound passengers except those below 12 years of age. Passengers aged from 12-18 years are allowed to travel without mandatory vaccination until March 31.There will be a rapid antigen test done on arrival for deportees and non-vaccinated pedestrians at border terminals. Positive cases will be home-quarantined for 10 days.
