Compass International School – Doha will host an Open Day from 9am until 12 noon on Saturday, March 5, on its Themaid campus.
The event, which is open to the public, is being held to give parents and children the opportunity to discover more about the school’s offerings and unique collaborations.
It invites families to enjoy a variety of activities and learn more about the programmes offered across Compass International School campuses in Doha.
From STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and maths) activities to sport – attendees of all ages will enjoy a wide variety of engaging and stimulating activities, the school has said in a statemen. Parents and students will have the opportunity to meet with the academic staff, the head of campus and the executive principal, Paul Holyome, and learn more about the curricula offered at the school.
Admissions staff will be on hand to answer any questions relating to the state-of-the-art campus, which opened its doors to students in 2019. The campus includes facilities such as science laboratories, an auditorium, a 25m swimming pool, music practice rooms, specialist design areas, performing arts, athletics spaces and more.
Ann Djedid, head of the Themaid campus, said: “We are very excited to welcome families to the Open Day at our purpose-built campus. Our aim is to provide parents with the opportunity to tour our campus and to become more familiar with our unique approach to learning as well as our collaborations with world-class establishments such as MIT, Juilliard and Unicef.”
Compass International School offers the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, the International Primary Curriculum, the English National Curriculum, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme & the A Level programme.
The principal language of instruction at all campuses of Compass International School is English. This is complemented by Qatar’s only accredited Dutch culture and language programme, offered on the Gharaffa campus.
The full Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s Arabic curriculum is available for native Arabic speakers across all campuses and for international students as a foreign language on the Themaid campus.
Admissions are currently open for the 2022/2023 academic year for Early Years through Secondary.
