The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Office of Community Communication of the Municipal Affairs Section, in co-ordination with Al Rayyan Municipality, organised a lecture for the students of Nusaiba Bint Kaab Primary School.
Titled “Agriculture and Healthy Eating”, the lecture was aimed to create awareness on the importance of agriculture and its role in public health. A total of 60 female students from different primary levels participated. Khawla Abdullah al-Bader, representative of Al Rayyan Municipality, gave an introductory lecture on agriculture and the importance of cultivating plants and vegetables. Besides, 100 agricultural seedlings were distributed to the students to be planted in the school garden.
