Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) organised teachers' training workshops exclusively designed for the entire teaching faculty irrespective of the grade or subject they teach.
The workshops were conducted by educationist Nicola Busheri, a Master’s Degree holder in Education Leadership and Policy (Distinction), from the University of Leeds.
The topics were collaboration and students interaction in the classroom, creating active learning environment, to differentiate between active and passive learning, discovering creativity in students, and effective use of teaching aids.
The trainer emphasised the use of body language, facial expressions, intonations and other techniques while teaching students in classrooms.
PISQ principal Nargis Raza Otho hoped the training will help teachers improve their skills in classrooms for achieving better results.
