Students of MES Indian School won five prizes in the Faber Castell Spectra International 2021, an annual art carnival conducted online by the Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) Bahrain.
A total of 550 children from around 80 schools across 17 countries had participated.
The winners from MES were Karthika Mahesh and Sanjay Shaji - first and fifth, respectively, in category-4, Varsha S Menon - second in category-5, KrishnenduVenugopal and Krishna Ashok Kumar - sixth and fifth, respectively, in the same category. All five winners featured in the top 10 positions. The winning entries and other outstanding creations are featured in the 2022 wall and desktop calendar of ICRF.
In a felicitation ceremony recently in Bahrain, Basheer Ahamed Ambalayil, MES governing body member, received the prizes and certificates on behalf of the winners from the ICRF chairman. MES principal Hameeda Kadar congratulated the winners.
