Clark White, Khalid Ansari, Bhupendra Jain and Chandrashekhar Angadi blew the competition away with a net team score of 99 recently at the Qatar Golf Lovers (QGL) 207th tournament held at the Doha Golf Club.
A total of 28 golfers, led by Indian ambassador Dr Deepak Mittal, Serbian ambassador Jasminco Pozderac and Indian embassy defence attache Captain Mohan Atla participated in the novel 'Four Horsemen' format, where the best net scores of three out of the four members of each team were added up to arrive at the team score.
The team of Kanchan Ghoshal, Akshay Randeva, Prakash Iyer and Navin Bajaj finished second best with net team score of 100. Jasjit Butalia won the best net score with a personal best of 28. President Manoj Megchiani and vice president Sanjay Jain gave away the prizes.
