In support of the 'Warmth and Peace' winter campaign, Qatar Charity (QC) organised a 'Sports Challenge' programme, with the participation of 190 athletes, amateurs, families and representatives of the sponsors, including Dukhan Bank and United Development Company.
The aim was to enhance the value of charitable and humanitarian work and to support refugees and the needy in the winter. The challenge, held in the Museum of Islamic Art Park, included several sports activities, such a 40km cycling competition to The Pearl-Qatar and back, a 5km running race, and a challenge for families.
