Qatar and Iran held Tuesday the 16th periodic meeting for Directors of Coasts and Borders Security in Doha, to discuss several topics related to coasts security between the two countries.
In the meeting, the Qatari side was headed by Director-General of Coasts and Borders Security of the Ministry of Interior Brigadier-General Nasser Jabr al-Nuaimi, while the Irani side was headed by Commander of Iran Border Guards Brigadier-General Ahmed Ali Goudarzi. The periodic meeting comes within the framework of the agreement that has been concluded between Qatar and Iran, to coordinate between the two countries on security issues related to maritime transport, as well as other issues regarding coasts and borders security.
