DPS-Modern Indian School observed ‘School Safety Day’ on February 15 with the aim of reinforcing safety rules and promoting a happy and safe school culture. A pledge-taking ceremony was conducted for students of Nursery to Grade VIII, which urged everyone to give due importance to safety in day-to-day life. The students of Grades I and II were engaged in a colouring activity, highlighting the importance of safety at every step of life. Principal Asna Nafees, in her message, gave safety guidelines to the students and advised them to remain alert, maintain discipline and to abide by the rules and regulations to support a conducive learning atmosphere. The students participated in the productive activities enthusiastically and went back home strengthening their bond with safety forever, the school said in a statement.
