Maharashtra Professional Forum (MPF) - Qatar recently conducted, 'Paathshala of Financial Freedom', a financial awareness session for professionals.
The session was conducted by C A Rajesh Singh, managing partner, Capitaire Consulting. The master of ceremony was MPF vice president Abhijeet Biradar. A Q&A session was conducted by MPF general secretary Avinash Deshpande (acting CEO, MBK Consulting).
The online workshop was attended by more than 50 participants from Qatar and India with well-known personalities from institutions such as the Certified Member of Institute of Internal Auditors, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Doha Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Speaker Rajesh Singh recalled his own experiences with investing globally and about lessons learnt through success and failures.
Some of the topics covered were: The effects of small investment habits and the impact of compounding, risks vs rewards of investing diligently, his own investment portfolio performance over years, importance of ups and downs in stock market, and examples of high performing stocks and systematic investment plans.
Guest of honour, Nirlep Bhatt, former chairperson, ICAI Doha Chapter, addressed the participants by sharing the importance of financial freedom and risk taking.
