Department of Meteorology warns of strong wind and high sea

Weather inshore until 6 pm on Wednesday will be moderate temperature daytime, blowing dust to dusty at times becomes relatively cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected strong wind with poor horizontal visibility.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly 22 to 32 knot gusting to 40 knot at places at times.

Offshore, it will be southeasterly at first becomes northwesterly 10 to 20 knot increasing 25 to 35 knot noon time, gusting to 45 knot by night.

Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometres or less at times.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, rises to 3 to 5 feet at times. Offshore it will be 3 to 6 feet, rises to 8 to 12/14 feet at places by night.
