Qatar participated Wednesday in the extraordinary 40th session of the Ministerial Conference of the International Organisation of the Francophonie (OIF) in Paris, QNA reported.
HE Minister of State Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kawari chaired the delegation of Qatar at the session. Qatar's ambassador in France Sheikh Ali bin Jassim al-Thani attended the session. The session, chaired by Tunisia as the current OIF president, will discuss several items, particularly strengthening of democracy, security and combating misinformation in the media and virtual world.
