Labour ministry warns against worker recruitment without licence

The Ministry of Labour has warned individuals and companies against engaging in the business of recruiting workers from abroad on behalf of others without obtaining an approved licence. 

Those who fail to do so will be subject to legal accountability, the ministry said in a tweet. 

Those who have contracts with a manpower office must ensure that the office has an approved licence by the ministry to recruit workers from abroad on behalf of others, it added.
