Saudi Arabia has further eased Covid-19 restrictions for travellers coming to the country. The Saudi Ministry of Health said there is no need to take a PCR test before and upon arrival, and also removed the requirement to submit a vaccination certificate.
The ministry, according to a tweet, has also lifted quarantine requirements for travellers arriving in the country.
The ministry explained that the reasons for lifting the restrictions are the decreasing rate of Covid-19 cases (less than 4%) and reaching a vaccination rate of 99% for targeted groups of the kingdom's population (12 and above).
