His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan Wednesday. During the session, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them in all fields, especially in investment and economy. Also, they discussed a number of regional and international issues of concern to the two countries, including developments in the region.












HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, HE Chief of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, and HE Minister of Municipality Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Subaie attended the talks session.

On the Slovenian side, Minister of Infrastructure Jernej Vrtovec and Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning Andrej Vizjak attended.
The Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of President Pahor and the accompanying delegation.
Earlier upon arrival at the Amiri Diwan, the Slovenian president was accorded an official reception.
