HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Qassim al-Thani on Wednesday met Mohamed Bashir Abdalla, Minister of Minerals of the Republic of Sudan and his accompanying delegation currently visiting the country.
The meeting was attended by Khalid bin Ahmed al-Obaidli, CEO, Qatar Mining. During the meeting, the officials touched on the commercial, industrial, and investment relations between Qatar and Sudan as well as ways to enhance and develop them.
They also discussed aspects of joint co-operation between the two sides. During the meeting, the Minister of Commerce and Industry highlighted the economic policies Qatar has put in place to support the private sector and pointed to the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that allow Sudanese companies to expand and invest in the country.
