DPS-MIS alumni inspire students

As a part of the Alumni Talk Series, DPS Modern Indian School recently hosted former students Gaurav Ravishankar and Sandra Ramachandran for separate webinars. Alumni Talk is a platform that connects the alumni with the alma mater to motivate and guide the current batches of the school students and share their success stories. Ravishankar spoke on “How Billion Dollar Deals Are Closed: An Introduction to Investment Banking”. He elaborated on ‘Investment Banking’ and discussed insightful case studies of a few companies in detail. He helped the students understand the prospects of investment banking sector and the corporate world. Sandra Ramachandran shared her knowledge and experience on the topic "On trial here: Unconventional Law Degrees”. she introduced the audience to the field of law and inspired them to navigate the path to a good law school. She explained in-depth the difference between global law and traditional law degrees and inspired them to explore other promising fields beyond science.Principal Asna Nafees, vice-principals Soma Bhattacharjee and Mary Cruz, the academic and activity coordinators along with the team of teachers and interested students of Grade IX and Grade XI commerce steam joined the events. The second webinar was also attended by the Debate Club students.
