Punjab Music Group (PMG) celebrated Pakistan Day with great fervour in Doha on Wednesday. A cake replicating Pakistan’s crescent and star flag was cut to mark the occasion. Iqbal Butt of New Shane Lahore Hotel was the guest of honour.
Amongst others, the National Day programme was attended by members of the community, including Atiqur Rasheed, Shiraz Ali Khan, Mohamed Ramzan, Tauqeer Ahmed, Amanullah Niazi, Syed Abid Ali, Sajjad Ali Sonu Qureshi, Shahid Rasheed and Raza Hussain.
Speakers at the programme organised by Nazakat Ali Khan recalled the freedom struggle and exhorted Pakistanis to work for the progress and prosperity of the country. National songs were also rendered on the occasion. The participants were feted with traditional Pakistani cuisines to conclude the event.
