The Prime Minister of the Republic of Mali Choguel Kokalla Maiga affirmed the depth of the Malian-Qatari relations, pointing out his country's aspiration for Qatars support in the next stage in various fields.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of Doha Forum 2022, the Prime Minister of Mali said that his country is greatly counts on Qatar's contribution to organizing free and fair elections in the coming period to end the transitional period and make way for the establishment of stable state institutions, in addition to its role in combating terrorism that his country is facing.
He said that his country desires to develop several economic sectors with Qatar, especially in such circumstances where Mali needs to inject investments in the mining, agriculture, infrastructure, and public services sectors.
He pointed out that Mali offers investment opportunities to the business sector in Qatar, especially in the agricultural field, as Mali provides about 2 mn hectares of fertile land, in addition to the infrastructure, energy, hospitals and tourism sectors.
