PISQ students win prizes in NHRC competitions

Four students from Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ) have won prizes in three competitions organised by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).

Saif Ahmad (Class VIII) was first in the article writing competition, Javeria Sabir (class VI) second in drawing and Dua Fatima (class XII) and Aqsa Shahid (class-XI) bagged the second and third places, respectively, in scientific research. They received certificates and gift vouchers in a ceremony arranged by NHRC. PISQ principal Nargis Raza Otho received a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the school. She congratulated the award winners and appreciated the teachers who trained them.The competitions were part of an awareness campaign for Arab and foreign schools in Qatar. The slogan of the campaign was ‘Education as Duty and Human Right’.
