Indian Fans Fiesta by Expats SportEv extends support to World Cup Qatar 2022

The Indian Fans Fiesta by Expats SportEv to support FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 was recently held at Hamilton International School in Mesaimeer. The inaugural session was attended by World Cup legacy ambassadors Khalid Salman al-Muhannadi and Ibrahim Khalfan along with officials from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar Volleyball Association, and apex bodies under the Indian embassy and community leaders. The ceremony also marked a sevens football tournament featuring Indian teams.
Col Dr Ibrahim Mohamed al-Sumaih, director, Community Police Department at MoI delivered the inaugural address. Capt Abdullah Khamis al-Hamad, assistant secretary, Qatar Police Sports Association; Mohamed al-Dosari, acting executive director of Public Relations, HMC, Lt Abdul Aziz al-Muhannadi, Community Police Awareness Officer and Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) President Ziyad Usman were also present.
