Jaidah Group, exclusive dealer of UD Trucks in Qatar, organised the Extra Mile Challenge 2022 for heavy drivers, at Al Khebra Driving Academy.
A total of 35 participants from different companies invited by Jaidah Group demonstrated their finest driving skills and competed for the coveted prize of a trip to UD Trucks’ factory in Ageo, Japan where the global final of the contest will be held in October 2022.
Kanwardalip Singh from Gulf Construction Machinery (GCM) won the title of ‘Ultimate Driver’ in Qatar along with his ticket to Japan. The champion displayed excellent control of the truck and was chosen by a combination of skillsets including safe driving, manoeuvrability and time management.
Arjun Biswakarma from Al Zubara and Rajesh Thumbath from Galfar Al Misnad claimed the second and third places, respectively. Jaidah also acknowledged and honoured all the participants with special certifications from UD Trucks.

Singh not only aced the series of tests but also showed great composure during the competition making him the ‘Ultimate Champion’ from Qatar.
