The Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Centre), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and Silatech, in collaboration with United Development Company (UDC) and Snoonu, has recently launched the ‘Ramadan Market’ initiative at the Qanat Quartier area located at The Pearl-Qatar.
The initiative aims to support local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) founded by a group of ambitious and creative Qatari entrepreneurs by providing them with the perfect opportunity and the ideal platform to showcase their finest Ramadan products.
The Ramadan Market initiative is welcoming guests daily from 7.30pm to 1am daily, until April 24. It provides a unique platform for entrepreneurs to highlight and promote their products and showcase their businesses.
The market promises to be a unique shopping opportunity for families and individuals looking for various Ramadan products, such as abayas, galabiyas, Ramadan gift packages, stationery, accessories, perfumes, and incense, in addition to a variety of other Ramadan related designs.
Thanks to the collaboration between Bedaya Centre and Snoonu, the participating entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to display and sell their products through the Snoonu application, which will enable them to have the widest outreach of their projects and products.
Hamad al-Qahtani, general manager of Bedaya Centre, said: “We continuously pursue to support entrepreneurs and SME owners by building and developing their capabilities in addition to enhancing their presence in the market and participation in all events that shed light on their products and efforts in the local market.”
He added: “There are multiple reasons that drive us to hold the similar initiative, such as the centre's relentless pursuit to sustain this event, supporting the participants by providing the services of a leading digital platform that allows them to promote their products and ensure a wide outreach in the market.
“The venue selection of the Ramadan Market is very strategic as it witnesses the gathering of all members of society and communities in one place, making it the leading attraction destination during the holy month of Ramadan.”
Hamad Mubarak al-Hajri, co-founder and CEO of Snoonu, said:” We are thrilled to collaborate with Bedaya Centre once again in the Ramadan Markets initiative by providing a special section for the participating projects in our digital platform, which will enable them to reach a wider segment of customers.
“Through such collaborations with Bedaya, Snoonu always seeks to support all small and medium-sized enterprises by providing marketing and strategic solutions that enable them to enhance their presence in the Qatari market.”
