Drugs hidden inside passengers’ guts caught at HIA

Inspectors at Hamad International Airport (HIA) foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs into Qatar hidden inside a passenger’s stomach.

Qatar Customs said in a tweet that when authorities found the passenger suspicious, an investigation was carried out using special devices, which revealed drugs hidden inside the passenger’s guts.
