AACE International holds meeting to discuss plans and initiatives

The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering or commonly known as AACE International has its Qatar Section, which is assigned under Region 7 Middle East Countries, met in person recently to discuss plans and initiatives for the remaining two months of the current team.
The association’s current President, Saad Hegazy, acknowledged the entire team’s efforts for the recent recognition received from the headquarters of AACE International. Qatar Section was awarded a Platinum Award for achieving the Section Minimum Standard required for each Section. One of the major achievements of AACE Qatar Section was the six Technical Webinars organised by the team where a total of 821 attendees joined from across the globe despite varying time zones.The team plans to organise an in-person event for Ramadan where officers, members, and loyal supporters based in Qatar will be invited to celebrate the festive season. It is a way to express gratitude to all avid supporters of AACE Qatar Section. Aside from that, the team also plans to have an in-person technical event before the current term finishes. This is a way of appreciation for all the continued engagements received from all the avid followers of AACE Qatar Section since prior to the Covid19 pandemic and when everybody shifted to webinars and slowly moving to what was described as the new normal.The team looks forward to providing quality continued professional development seminars in its advocacy for professionals to be highly competitive, effective, and efficient in the industry.
