BPS bags Doha Bank Eco-Schools award

Birlasphere, the Birla Public School (BPS) Eco Club, bagged the Doha Bank Eco-Schools Award 2021 presented at a ceremony held recently. The award was a commendation for the excellent work done by the Eco Club all through the year, related to green and sustainable development, the school said in a statement. Birlasphere enables students to learn about the environment and take action to improve their immediate environment. It also provides an opportunity to help generate awareness, build attitudes and enable students to take up activities in the real world, beyond the constraints of the classroom. The Eco Warriors are involved in a lot of activities throughout the year to create awareness about the environment in the student community, including kitchen gardening.
