Wakra market sets up section for nurseries

The Al Wakra Central Market management has set up a dedicated section for nurseries and agricultural companies to display their products, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported recently.

The new section is located at the site that used to house cattle barns in the old market south of the existing facility. A number of nurseries have started occupying slots there to display their products, including various kinds of plants and trees, while agricultural companies have moved in to offer related services. The new section provides plant lovers with all their needs and the various services required to take care of their plants. Further, some of the companies offer home gardening services as well.Workers at the nurseries have that started operations in the new section stressed that having an active presence in the Central Market will help them improve their business and expand their operations. Noting that the place is easily accessible, they said sales expected are to pick up soon as more people come to know about the new section.
