The US-Qatar Business Council (USQBC) has hosted a welcome reception and dinner for the Atlantic Council and Women Leadership delegations during the course of the recently-held Doha Forum.
The event featured prominent guests from both the US and Qatar, and brought together thought leaders from the Atlantic Council, one of the US’ foremost foreign policy think thanks, women leaders, and leading Qatari government and business leaders.
It provided the delegations an opportunity to engage with the Qatari business community to discuss investment opportunities, strengthen commercial ties, facilitate business engagements, and relationships between Qatar and the US.
“It was a pleasure to host the Atlantic Council delegation, the Women’s Leadership delegation, our Qatari business partners, and USQBC members. The event was a resounding success as it allowed officials from Qatar and the US to interact and network with one another to create new relationships that would enhance business ties between both countries,” said Sheikha Mayes bint Hamad al-Thani, managing director of USQBC Doha Office.

Their esteemed positions and success serve as an inspiration to women and allow them to engage in critical debate regarding women’s rights.
The private reception brought together leaders and experts from a variety of fields that excel in politics, business, law, non-profit organisations, women’s rights agencies, and academia.
These influential experts, who came from the US to the Doha Forum, were provided an opportunity to engage closely with the Qatari business and governmental communities and learn about the many shared values and initiatives between the two countries.
