Scattered light rain was observed in some areas across Qatar including some central and eastern parts of the country Sunday morning. According to Qatar Meteorology Department, chances of scattered rain will continue until noon.
Weather inshore until 6 pm on Sunday will be partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain at first and relatively hot daytime with blowing dust at times, the department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of strong wind expected at places at times.
Offshore will be partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain at first becomes fine later, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly 10 to 20 knot gusting to 27 knot at places at times.
Offshore, it will be northwesterly 10 to 18 knot increasing to 18 to 25 knot gusting 30 knot at times.
