Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has recently concluded its ‘Contractor Safety Management’ campaign and hosted an HSE Awareness Campaigns Ceremony at the Woqod Tower in West Bay.
The activity included the following campaigns that aimed to ensure that safety regulations are respected and adhered to across all the services provided by Woqod: Contractor Safety Management Campaign (#Safer Together), MOI Traffic Awareness Campaign, Speed Monitoring Campaign, and Petrol Station Staff Technical and Safety Awareness Campaign.
During the ceremony, three companies were awarded the Contractor Safety Management award for compliance and commitment to the Woqod Workplace Safety: Al Balagh Company (first place), GASCO (second place), and Paragon (third place).
The activity was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Interior, participating contractors, and Woqod’s executive management and managers, along with Woqod ‘Campaign Champions’.
It is worth mentioning that more than 81,000 contractors and employees attended the awareness programmes that were organised by the company’s QHSSE Department in 2021.
