Students at MES Indian School celebrated Garangao with gaiety on the 14th day of Ramadan. Children in traditional Qatari costumes with special cotton bags and singing the traditional special Garangao song, were welcomed by the school principal Hameeda Kadar, heads of sections, and teachers. The celebration helped the students to know more of one of the most prominent traditions deeply rooted in Qatari folklore. They received Garangao gifts from the principal. The programme also included traditional Qatari dance performance and contests for colouring and quiz.
